Event Submission Terms
Effective Date: July 30, 2026
These Event Submission Terms apply whenever a person submits an event, photograph, flyer, logo, description, link, or other material to Shoreline Live Music.
By submitting material, you agree to these terms.
Authority to Submit
You confirm that:
- you are at least 18 years old
- the information you provide is truthful and accurate
- you are authorized to submit the event
- you are the venue, performer, organizer, authorized representative, or otherwise have permission to make the submission
- the event is genuine and is scheduled or reasonably expected to occur
Do not submit an event while falsely claiming to represent a venue, performer, or organizer.
Accuracy of Event Information
You are responsible for confirming:
- performer name
- venue name
- venue address
- event date
- start and end times
- admission price
- ticket or reservation requirements
- age restrictions
- indoor or outdoor status
- event description
- contact and verification links
You agree to notify Shoreline Live Music promptly if an event is cancelled, postponed, relocated, or materially changed.
Rights to Submitted Materials
You retain ownership of original material that you submit.
However, by submitting content, you grant Shoreline Live Music a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:
- review
- store
- reproduce
- resize
- crop
- format
- edit for clarity or length
- publish
- display
- distribute
- archive
- promote
the submitted material in connection with the Website, event calendar, email communications, and Shoreline Live Music social-media accounts.
This license continues for as long as the submission or related promotional material is used or archived by Shoreline Live Music.
Photographs, Flyers, Logos, and Artwork
You confirm that you own or have permission to use and submit every photograph, flyer, logo, graphic, and promotional image included with the submission.
You may not upload material:
- copied from another website without permission
- owned by a photographer without authorization
- containing another person’s protected image without appropriate permission
- infringing copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights
- subject to contractual restrictions preventing publication
- containing unlawful, deceptive, hateful, obscene, or defamatory content
Shoreline Live Music may request proof of permission.
Editing of Submissions
Shoreline Live Music may edit a submission for:
- spelling
- grammar
- capitalization
- formatting
- clarity
- consistency
- length
- categorization
- image dimensions
- website layout
We will not intentionally make a material change to the event’s meaning. However, you remain responsible for reviewing the published listing and reporting errors.
Review and Publication
Submitting an event does not guarantee publication.
Shoreline Live Music may, in its sole discretion:
- approve a submission
- reject it
- request additional information
- delay publication
- combine duplicate listings
- correct apparent errors
- remove promotional claims
- choose which image to display
- unpublish an event
- remove expired or cancelled events
We are not required to provide a reason for rejecting or removing a submission.
Verification
We may contact:
- the submitter
- the venue
- the performer
- the organizer
- another publicly listed contact
to verify event information or authorization.
We may also review official websites, event pages, ticket pages, and social-media accounts.
No Payment or Compensation
Unless a separate written agreement states otherwise:
- event submissions are unpaid
- no compensation is owed for submitted content
- publication does not create employment, agency, partnership, sponsorship, or endorsement
- Shoreline Live Music is not responsible for performer compensation, venue fees, ticket revenue, or contractual arrangements
- Event Responsibility
The venue, performer, promoter, or organizer remains solely responsible for:
- producing the event
- obtaining permits and licenses
- complying with laws
- maintaining insurance
- paying performers and vendors
- ticketing
- safety
- accessibility
- alcohol service
- cancellations
- refunds
- attendee communications
Shoreline Live Music only provides an informational listing unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
Removal Requests
An authorized venue, performer, organizer, photographer, copyright owner, or other rights holder may request correction or removal by contacting:

Please include the event name, date, venue, page link, requested action, and explanation.
We may request reasonable proof of identity or authority.
Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Shoreline Live Music and its owner, operators, contractors, and service providers from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising from:
- inaccurate information you submit
- your lack of authority to submit an event
- materials that infringe another party’s rights
- your violation of these Event Submission Terms
- disputes involving the event, venue, performer, organizer, or uploaded material
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Event Submission Terms. The version in effect when a submission is made will apply to that submission, except where a later change is required by law.
